Classie came in with a second win at Retama and now we are talking about a family reunion on September 24th at Lone Star in Dallas.
She won by a length and a half last night with a speed index of 96, with snot in her nose to boot. Think what she could do with no chips in her ankles and feeling really good! They are expecting lots of rain in Texas--possibly floods soon so it is good thing this race got off before that happened.
It is most likely that we will enter Classie in the Dash for Cash Futurity on my birthday (October 8th)--and if she does super well in the trials on September 24th--she will get in that big race

Classie Blue Moon's First Win
Classie Blue Moon won with plenty of room between her and the next two year old last night at Retama race track. It was truly exciting and we wished we could have been in the winner's circle with everyone, including the breeder Rex Gandy who came down to see her ran and planned to see her win, based on Rex Robinson's prediction and she did.
It was a great night and with a 94 speed index, the best time of any horse the whole night, we are very hopeful about her future, even if she is a total crank to work with on a day-to-day basis.
